Spring Flowering Bulbs

Planting spring flowering bubs is a key part of autumn gardening. Planning and planting bulbs this autumn will reap rewards for years to come.

Spring flowering bulbs can be planted from mid-late September, until the first hard frosts, giving a long planting window. Aim to plant in groups of at least seven, the more bulbs in the group the better the display, 30-60 bulbs will create a real impact.

  • Plant the bulbs at 2-3 times their depth and space at least twice the bulb's width apart.
  • Plant with the nose or 'shoot' facing upwards.
